LIMITED WARRANTY FOR EXTRUSION PRODUCTS

ALDG offers a limited 20-year warranty on aluminum products sold for normal, non-abusive use. Most of our aluminum parts have a durable polyester powder coat finish. Other aluminum products are coated with acrylic enamel paint. In both cases, the coatings are subject to a 5-year limited warranty from suppliers against discoloration and flaking. The installation of our products is guaranteed for 1 year for normal use of our products.

Here are some best practices for maintaining aluminum railings and decks:

Aluminum Balcony Products – Maintenance Guidelines Aluminum Decking

  • Rinse regularly with water to remove dust, salt residue, and any other surface accumulation.
  • For more stubborn dirt, use a moderately pressurized water jet.
  • During freezing weather, prioritize the use of ecological de-icing salt. It is
  • recommended to sweep the floor frequently to prevent excessive accumulation.
  • Avoid the accumulation of dead leaves or organic debris on the surface.

IMPORTANT NOTICE – Flooring:

Never leave rugs or carpets on the aluminum floor. If flower pots are used, it is recommended to move them regularly to prevent marks or rings from appearing.

Other aluminum balcony components (Railings, handrails, posts, moldings, and accessories)

  • Periodically clean surfaces with clean water and, if needed, a mild non-abrasive soap.
  • Rinse thoroughly after cleaning to avoid soap residue.
  • Avoid using abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or harsh chemicals that can damage the finish.
  • Regularly inspect components to ensure fasteners remain securely in place and in good condition.
  • Promptly remove salt deposits, dirt, or environmental contaminants, especially in heavily exposed areas.

IMPORTANT NOTICE – Balcony Components:

Do not use acidic, alkaline, or solvent-based cleaning products.

Avoid prolonged contact with corrosive substances or standing water.

Adhering to ALDG maintenance recommendations is essential to preserve the appearance of the products and maintain warranty validity.
